About the Role The Senior Commodity Manager leads global procurement categories to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services at competitive pricing, supporting multiple manufacturing facilities and R&D. Reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Procurement and is on-site in Indianapolis, IN. What You'll Do
- Lead a global category strategy implementation managing suppliers to support Quality, Cost, Cash, Service, Risk
- Support internal customers including up to 7 global manufacturing facilities and R&D/New Product Introduction
- Lead RFQ and quote analysis, evaluate vendors' capability, quality, reliability and price competitiveness
- Achieve year over year cost savings including negotiations, value engineering programs, contracting, competitive bidding, should costing
- Manage projects with ability to change direction according to business dynamics What We're Looking For
