About the Role
Senior Commodity Buyer at AB Volvo is accountable for the Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Features (QDCF) of suppliers within the Tanks, Tubes & Structural segment. You will be responsible for making sure that the segment business plan is implemented through the selection of the right suppliers, and by continuously securing supplier QDCF performance by using the tools and purchasing/cross-functional network during production and post-production phases. Based out of Greensboro, NC headquarters, you will report to the Head of Tanks, Tubes, & Struc Part PU NA. What You'll Do
- Develop, negotiate, and implement strategies resulting in improved supply chain performance, enhanced product quality, innovative technology, and maximum value
- Drive negotiations and executive agreements with suppliers within the Tanks, Tubes & Structural Parts segment
