About the Role As a member of Lear's Purchasing team, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for driving material cost reductions, executing strategic sourcing initiatives, leading supplier negotiations, proactively identifying supply chain risks, and supporting tariff mitigation activities, including supplier resourcing. The role requires managing all tactical aspects of supply chain procurement to support plant and customer requirements. What You'll Do
- Lead development and implementation of cost saving programs
- Manage sourcing selection of material with best-in-class cost and quality
- Negotiate long-term agreements
- Develop strategies to achieve current and long-term results
- Leverage familiarity with commercial terms and total cost management concepts
