About the Role Senior Accountant at PUMA will coordinate and lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, oversee the general ledger and related accounting processes, and serve as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and auditors. The role includes tax-related accounting, asset impairment, project participation, and ensuring compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS. What You'll Do
- Coordinate and create monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- Lead the GL accounting team; manage account assignment and posting in general ledger, fixed assets, accounts receivable/payable, and bank accounting.
- Manage payment processing (manual bank transfers, direct debit runs, and payment runs).
- Credit management, dunning processes, and master data maintenance.
- Accounting assessment and treatment of tax-related cases.
