About the Role GiveWell is seeking a Senior Accountant to own complex accounting areas, focusing on revenue reconciliation and grants recognition. You’ll bring deep expertise to complex reconciliations, serve as a thought partner to our Controller on process improvements, and mentor junior staff—all in service of an organization that moves large amounts of money conscientiously and transparently. What You'll Do
- Own revenue reconciliation across donation platforms including bank deposits, securities, and cryptocurrency, mapping to CRM for GL uploads and ultimately regranting to charities.
- Prepare the quarterly grants reconciliation from GL to the grants database ensuring liabilities are recorded, grants attributed to grantees, funds allocated from Top Charities and All Grants Funds, and net asset rollforward reconciled.
