About the Role Campus Security Officers are responsible for the safety and security of UNE's students, faculty, staff, and visitors. They maintain a safe environment through high visibility patrols, CCTV and radio monitoring, and proactive service to the campus community. What You'll Do
- Patrol University property on foot and in University-owned vehicles to deter intrusion, theft, and safety concerns.
- Monitor CCTV and radio communications; respond to disturbances and incidents; document with written reports.
- Serve as first responders to campus emergencies (active threat, bomb threat, medical emergencies) and coordinate with local authorities as needed.
- Enforce UNE policies and cooperate with investigations; provide courteous service, escorts, and safety notices.
