Sculpture Studio Technician
The Department of Art at the University of Maine seeks a Sculpture Studio Technician to assist with operations of its sculpture curriculum and facilities. The Technician coordinates, supports, and/or supervises various activities, including instruction; safety training and compliance; maintenance of specialized equipment (including kilns, furnaces, and power tools); student employees; and the purchase and tracking of supplies and equipment. This position has a nine-month work year of September 1 to May 31, is fixed-length, and part-time (30 hours/week). The hiring range is $32,000 to $35,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
