About the Role Northern Education Trust is seeking a dedicated and organised Science Technician to join Dyke House Academy. You will work under the direction of the Senior Science Technician or Head of Department to support practical teaching and learning, ensuring students receive a high-quality practical education in a vibrant science department.
What You'll Do
- Lesson Preparation & Support: Organising apparatus, preparing resources, constructing/checking equipment prior to lessons; assist teaching staff with practical demonstrations and provide lesson support or cover where required.
- Departmental Planning: Helping to plan experiments and stepping in to assist with the duties of absent colleagues to ensure learning resources are delivered seamlessly.
