About the Role This role supports Volvo Trucks Durban operations within Trucks Technology & Industrial (IM) International Manufacturing, focusing on Safety, Health, Wellbeing, Risk Management, and People Experience. The objective is to embed proactive risk management and create an engaging, safe workplace where people can perform at their best. What You'll Do
- Safety Management and Compliance: Develop, maintain, and monitor safety policies in line with Volvo standards and local legislation; conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, reporting, and containment planning.
- Wellbeing and Health Promotion: Lead workplace wellbeing initiatives including mental health; coordinate incapacity management; arrange wellness days; maintain records related to incidents and COIDA; provide wellness statistics and insights.
