About the Role Our Float Pool RN provides compassionate care across multiple inpatient units at Logan Health. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and premium pay, with cross-training across Medical/Surgical units and other designated areas. What You'll Do
- Provide nursing care across assigned inpatient units in the Med/Surg Float Pool.
- Cross-train and maintain competence in two or more units beyond Medical/Surgical units.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy per physician orders; monitor and reassess patient status; respond to changes per policy.
- Communicate critical changes to the physician/provider using SBAR; document findings; maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Operate and maintain equipment per departmental standards; ensure competency in unit-based tasks and regulatory requirements; participate in annual competencies.
