About this role
Overview: This is a Registered Nurse position in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at Bay Area Hospital in Oregon. Within the scope of practice defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, the RN applies the nursing process to patient care, educates patients and significant others, documents care in the medical record, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care.
Responsibilities
- Apply nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to patient care in the IMCU.
- Teach patients and their significant others about care needs and conditions.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the medical record.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
