About the Role
This is a Full-Time RN Charge role at INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center in OKC, OK. You will lead nursing operations on your shift, ensuring safe patient assignments, guiding care teams, and supporting patient flow throughout the unit.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate patient care for licensed and non-licensed personnel on your shift, ensuring standards of care
- Serve as primary point of contact for medical staff on your shift and perform rounding when needed
- Manage patient assignments and unit workflow; oversee admissions and timely discharges
- Plan staffing needs for the next 12-24 hours and escalate issues as needed
- Ensure caregivers take lunches/breaks via buddy systems and accountability
- Conduct safety huddles before each shift and maintain bedside shift reports
