About the Role The Residence Hall Director (RHD) is a 12-month, full-time, live-in position responsible for students in one of the university's residence halls or apartments, supervising approximately 150-200 students. The role supports student development and residence life initiatives within the Student Affairs team and reports to the Director of Residence Life and Housing. This entry-level position is ideal for starting a career in Higher Education or pursuing a master’s degree, and includes on-call duties on evenings, weekends, holidays, and breaks along with housing and meal plan provisions during the academic year.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and develop Resident Advisors; assist in recruitment, selection, training, and evaluation of paraprofessional staff; assist in staff scheduling and meetings.
