About the Role The Research Study Assistant (RSA) provides general research and administrative support for clinical trials within the Department/Division of Surgery – Clinical Research Core at CUIMC. Under the supervision of the Clinical Research Manager and Senior Director, the RSA helps ensure HIPAA and GCP compliance, supports data management, regulatory tasks, and coordination of patient visits, specimens, and data flow. What You'll Do
- Review research protocols and understand study requirements; maintain HIPAA and GCP standards.
- Maintain procedures for timely and complete data management; use work logs and attend regular meetings; fulfill regulatory responsibilities as needed.
- Collect, process, and ship specimens as required.
- Schedule assessments and appointments per protocol; prepare kits; scan documents into the EMR; redact documents; obtain signatures.
