Research Specialist B
The Research Specialist B will work on many aspects of the translational research program for advancing utrophin-based gene therapies into clinical trials. They will also conduct research to help quantify the level of disease reversal the therapy provides in animal models for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The Research Specialist B will conduct laboratory research, troubleshoot problems, analyze data, design new research experiments along with research publications, and prepare presentations. They will participate in lab management and help support lab set up and operations, oversee ordering, organization and maintenance of reagents, equipment, and protocols. Additionally, they will train lab members as needed, provide scientific and technical expertise and guidance for other ongoing projects. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
