This position supports the research activities of the Ko Laboratory, including conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, interpreting results, and preparing manuscripts for publication. The laboratory studies the immunological mechanisms underlying periodontitis and other oral inflammatory diseases using human tissue–based approaches and animal models.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities: Perform laboratory experiments using molecular, cellular, and immunological techniques under the direction of the Principal Investigator. Assist with animal studies, including mouse colony maintenance, genotyping, surgical procedures, tissue collection, and phenotypic analyses in accordance with institutional animal care guidelines. Process and analyze human tissue specimens, including histology, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, and molecular assays.
