Job title: Research Engineer, Code RL
About the Role The Code RL team develops reinforcement learning systems that improve coding capabilities in Claude models. As a Research Engineer, you'll blend research and engineering to help models write, edit, test, and ship real software end to end on real codebases with real tools. You will design RL environments and coding tasks, build reward signals and verifiers that capture what good code means, run training experiments on frontier models, and help scale pipelines for iterative improvement.
