About the Role Join BioMarin as a Research Associate on the Analytical Pathology team within the neuroscience group. This role focuses on evaluating disease pathogenesis, therapeutic efficacy and drug distribution using microscopy and related technologies for pre-clinical projects. You will design histology experiments and generate high-quality data to support developmental programs.
What You'll Do
- Design of histology experiments
- Performing histological stains, IHC/IF, and ISH on tissue from multiple species utilizing both manual and automated platforms
- Slide imaging, light and fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy
- Image quantification and analysis
- Developing and implementing new assays, functionality, and technology for project needs
