About the Role The RN will join an 8-bed ICU/PCU unit caring for adult patients requiring ICU or PCU level care. This night-shift role (7 p.m.–7 a.m., Monday–Friday with every third weekend) offers a sign-on bonus up to $12,000 for external candidates. The patient population includes ventilator support, central/arterial lines, vasopressors, high-alert drips, intra-aortic balloon pumps, chest tubes, and more. Nurse-to-patient ratios: regular ICU 1:2, high-acuity 1:1, PCU 1:3 or 4 depending on acuity. What You'll Do
- Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process; assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge
- Partner with patients and families, incorporate their goals into the plan of care, and provide education
- Document education and learning in the health record; adhere to Corewell Health policies
