About the Role The Emergency Department Nurse at Pennock Hospital (a 12-bed ED in a fast-paced Level 3 trauma center) provides urgent care to a variety of emergencies. You will deliver nursing care per the ANA standards and the nursing process to support optimal patient outcomes. What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care in a high-pace ED setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with ED team to triage, treat, and manage patients with injuries and medical emergencies.
- Uphold ANA standards of professional practice, ethical care, culturally congruent care, effective communication, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and professional accountability in a 12-bed ED.
- Adhere to Corewell Health policies and deliver care on-site at Pennock Hospital.
