About this role
Job title: Recreationist, Adult Day Program
The Recreationist contributes to recreation planning and conducts recreation activities with groups at the Day Program. The Recreationist also organizes and promotes both research and evidence-based programs while taking into account the needs and interests of the clients.
We are looking for: a full-time, permanent Recreationist
Hours of Work: Wednesday 10:30am to 6:30pm; Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm; Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm; Saturday and Sunday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Location: 9600 Bathurst St Unit 4, Vaughan
Reports to: Manager, Social Work, ADP, Hospice and Bereavement
Responsibilities
- Recreation Facilities
- Ensure that Day Program facilities are operated and maintained effectively and safely.
- Assist in the preparation and development of the monthly calendars/letters.
- Ensure policies and regulations are adhered to.
