About the Role The R&D – Manager of Commercial Applications oversees the application laboratory and leads the development and optimization of product applications for the Industrial Wood Division. As a subject matter expert in rheology and coating applications, you will support internal teams and external customers to validate performance, train stakeholders, and drive adoption of best practices. The role aligns lab capabilities with customer processes, conducts on-site trials, and provides hands-on guidance to continuously improve product performance. What You'll Do
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the applications laboratory, ensuring safe operations and effective execution of projects.
- Provide testing support and guidance for stage gate product development, product investigations, and internal and external product benchmarking.
