Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Lagos (with travel to project sites across Nigeria when required) Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: Project Manager / Architect
Key Responsibilities
Cost Planning & BOQ Preparation:
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for:
- New construction projects
- Interior fit-out projects
- Renovation works
- Remodelling projects
- Maintenance projects
- Prepare cost estimates at concept, schematic, design development, and construction documentation stages.
Programme of Works:
- Prepare detailed Programmes of Work for all projects.
Project Cost Control & Valuation:
- Carry out weekly valuation of all ongoing projects.
- Measure completed works and certify project progress
Procurement & Commercial Management:
- Prepare tender documents and procurement schedules.
- Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
