About this role
About the Role The Quality Inspector is responsible for 1st piece, in-process and final inspection activities in the assembly departments and for calibration records using calibration software. The role also handles recording nonconformances in the Assembly Inspection History program in the AS400 system. What You'll Do
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Dimensional inspection of components using inspection tools and gauges
- Ensure proper documentation with shipments (material traceability reports, certificates of conformity, etc.)
- Transact approved material and ensure approved items are identified and staged for putaway
- Equipment calibrations (calipers, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, etc.)
- In-process and final inspections of machined components and final assemblies; recording in the Assembly Inspection History Record via tablet
