About the Role Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks a Quality Control Body Exterior engineer to study car body parts and processes, driving quality improvements across production and supplier networks. The role focuses on ensuring body exterior quality meets internal and external requirements through inspection, analysis, and corrective actions. What You'll Do
- Inspect incoming/raw materials and assemblies to make quality decisions
- Investigate and analyze defective products and develop countermeasures
- Establish short-term/long-term measures to ensure smooth production
- Collaborate with HMC visitors for quality improvement during new project development stage
- Enhance suppliers’ quality level by conducting Supplier Process Audit (SPA) and reviewing their products, tools, and systems periodically
