Job Description
Typically reports to a Quality Engineering Manager. Under minimal supervision, provides leadership for development and deployment of assigned business functions. Drives operational process improvement through metrics, problem identification, root cause analysis and, developing and implementing corrective action plans. Provides leadership and takes ownership of driving continuous improvement at a local, regional and in some cases at the enterprise level. Ensures successful design and implementation of the metrics, quality plans, Statistical Process Controls, and/or internal audits locally or regionally. Facilitates successful implementation and maintenance of the Quality System (policies, processes, procedures, tools and controls) at one or more sites and/or takes on lead roles at the functional, division or affiliate level.
