About the Role The Promotions Analyst will develop analytics to measure the effectiveness of promotions and collaborate with merchants and IT to create and maintain a repository of historical promotions, financial performance, trends, and associated tactics. The role also involves scenario modeling, reporting, and guiding future promo planning to maximize ROI. What You'll Do
- Develop and utilize analytics to measure effectiveness of promotions.
- Work with merchants and IT to create and maintain a repository of historical promotions, financial performance, trends and associated tactics.
- Develop processes to identify and measure actual promo volume, discount depth, promo types, support vehicles, basket, number of trips and vendor funding.
- Construct baseline calculation process and update as promo periods are cycled through.
