Project / Rig Accountant Location: Lagos Job Description We are hiring an experienced project/rig accountant to maintain complete and accurate project accounting records and provide reliable cost, commitment, accrual, reconciliation and project-performance information.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and complete project accounting records and ensure all transactions are correctly coded to the appropriate project, cost centre, account and activity.
- Coordinate project month-end accounting activities in accordance with the approved closing timetable.
- Perform bank, supplier, customer, payroll and balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items promptly.
- Capture and report project expenditure by cost category, work package, vessel/rig activity, department and other relevant dimensions.
