Location: Florence, Alabama
Starting pay: $15.47/hr (+ incentives)
Position summary: Tarkett is seeking a new Production Team Member to join their manufacturing team in Florence, Alabama. Promoting a safety culture and utilizing WCM tools and methodology, in this position you will work with others to deliver a quality product on time to Tarkett’s customers.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Operate equipment and machines that support production
- Maintain and support 5S initiatives throughout the facility
- Drive a safety culture by adhering to all safety rules, supporting safety initiatives, and communicating opportunities for improvement through near misses, and Kaizen
- Maintain cleanliness of operations, equipment and facility
- Operate forklift
- Correctly move and label material/product throughout the process
