About the Role Join BioMarin's Technical Operations as a Process Development Scientist focused on upstream/downstream processing for biologics. You will design and deliver scientific projects within the BCoE, ensure data integrity and GLP standards, and collaborate across Process Sciences, Analytical, and Technical Operations to advance our manufacturing science capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver assigned scientific projects & studies in line with the BCoE business plan and technical agenda, with limited supervision.
- Ensure integrity of data and scientific conclusions from assigned projects.
- Support and lead root cause analyses, troubleshoot processing problems, and mentor more junior scientists.
- Develop and maintain small-scale models and maintain expertise in protein purification techniques and methodologies.
