About the Role Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is the team behind Microsoft’s expanding Cloud Infrastructure and responsible for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission. SCHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundation for Microsoft’s cloud services. What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and optimize platform power and performance characteristics for large-scale cloud hardware platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to improve energy efficiency, thermal management, and overall system performance.
- Analyze performance data, build models, and drive cross-stack optimizations to meet reliability, scalability, and efficiency targets.
- Communicate findings and influence platform decisions to support Microsoft’s Intelligent Cloud initiatives. What We're Looking For
