About the Role The Principal II, Molding & Tooling Engineering will refine and optimize injection molding processes and tooling configurations for medical device manufacturing at our Houston facility. You will collaborate with design engineers to improve mold performance, ensure product safety and regulatory compliance, and drive quality throughout development and production.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize injection molds for medical device manufacturing using medical-grade materials
- Lead end-to-end tooling programs: budgeting, cost control, timelines, risk management
- Coordinate with suppliers and OEM partners on technical specs, quality, and delivery
- Ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485
- Develop, execute, and maintain IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities
