About the Role The Prep Cook/Tortilla Prep supports Torchy’s kitchen operations in Lakeway, TX by producing all menu items per the daily prep sheet and Taco Bible, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth station setup and breakdown.
What You'll Do
- Produce food items listed on the prep sheet, ensuring each dish meets Torchy’s standards and follows recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including the walk-in and equipment
- Properly set up and break down your station; ensure readiness and cleanliness
- Follow all recipes from the Taco Bible and maintain food quality
- Practice proper food safety and HACCP principles, including FIFO
- Record pre- and post-weights, track yields, label and date pans
- Rotate products as needed and assist with other duties as requested by management
