About this role
About the Role The Power Generator Operator will manage the co-generation energy production process for the facility, adjusting equipment parameters to meet energy demand, and will operate and monitor turbo-generators, steam collectors, and steam valves to ensure a safe, reliable energy supply for the plant. What You'll Do
- Operate and control the co-generation energy production process to meet plant energy requirements by adjusting parameters on equipment
- Start and stop turbo-generator units
- Operate turbo-generators, steam collectors, and steam valves
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure correct operation
- Troubleshoot within your scope and report unresolved issues to maintenance and your supervisor
- Record readings from control and measurement instruments and maintain change logs for each shift
- Supervise maintenance work of boiler house equipment
