About the Role The Police Officer will patrol the campus area, respond to incidents, and conduct investigations to maintain campus safety. This is a sworn, full-time position serving the university community on campus.
What You'll Do
- Patrol campus area by motor vehicle or on foot to deter and respond to incidents.
- Serve as a first responder to incidents, accidents, and emergencies on campus.
- Conduct initial and follow-up investigations into significant and criminal incidents and coordinate with campus and local authorities as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Sworn-in Police Officer with willingness to patrol campus by vehicle or on foot.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and incidents on campus and coordinate appropriately.
- Strong communication, judgment, and teamwork skills to support campus safety and emergency response.
