About the Role You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and work as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. The role focuses on donor eligibility, adverse event management, and review of lab results to ensure safe, compliant plasma collection. What You'll Do
- Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of SPE.
- Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs; arrange donor transport to emergency care facilities as needed.
- Follow Center Physician's standing orders and seek Medical Affairs guidance for medical or technical issues related to donor safety and eligibility.
- Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
