About the Role Plant Technicians at P&G's Albany plant are responsible for production processes that transform rolls of raw materials into their final form prior to packaging. They act as System Owner or Equipment Owner for their area and operate and maintain the equipment to keep production flowing and ensure product quality. What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain equipment in the production area, including high-speed converting and packing equipment.
- Control the process from computer terminals and perform preventive maintenance to keep lines running.
- Own your work from day one and contribute to production and quality, with opportunities to expand into electrical, quality assurance, safety, and other areas.
- Maintain accurate records and data and move materials using material handling equipment (e.g., clamp truck, forklift, hand trucks).
