About this role
About the Role You will join SUEZ as an experienced and licensed Plant Operator, including forklift trucks, loading shovels and tele-handlers. Your work will help us operate the Blackpool Transfer Station efficiently and safely to support environmentally responsible waste management. What You'll Do
- Operate loading shovels, FLT and tele-handlers across the site to load a variety of vehicles (curtain sided vehicles, shipping containers and bulk haulage walking floors).
- Oversee and ensure safe and efficient operation of fixed machinery such as bailing machines; complete pre-operational safety and operator checks; conduct daily maintenance of mobile plant and fixed equipment.
- Ensure all waste deliveries follow the site licence and complete the related paperwork; inspect incoming products against Waste Acceptance Criteria and report non-compliant loads.
