Summary
Performs brazing to install refrigeration components and assists with unit layout and setup in accordance with established standards by performing the following duties.
What you’ll be responsible for in this role:
- Measure, cut, bend, assemble and install copper and steel tubing.
- Performs the following tasks:
- Use Torch to apply solder, (braze copper to copper pipes)
- Brazing Fundamentals
- Operate Copper Saw
- Operate Tube Bender
- Flare Making
- Suction Piping
- Discharge Piping
- Pressurizes and leak checks units
- Tools: tube cutters, hand vise, power benders, files, flaring/swedging tools, torch
- Other duties may be assigned
What are the qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
