Physics Laboratory Set Up Student Assistant
Description of Job Duties The successful candidate will assist the Laboratory Manager, lab instructors, and professors in setting up and tearing down Intro lab equipment, helps with a maintenance of the equipment stock and with assembly of new equipment, and will also help with maintaining a clean lab.
In the laboratory setting, the candidate will prepare laboratory equipment, demonstrate the proper use of laboratory equipment to instructors and students if necessary, and give guidance to instructors and students in the safe and proper handling of equipment.
Successful candidates will have knowledge of concepts necessary for Intro labs and the ability to acquire and analyze data to ensure proper functioning of the equipment used.
