Job Description Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, University of Chicago Medicine, as an Inpatient Phlebotomist in the Nursing Inpatient Phlebotomy department. Here, you will draw blood under minimal supervision. This is the Inpatient Nursing Phlebotomy department. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
Inpatient Phlebotomists perform blood collections in the adult, non-critical care units of Mitchell and CCD using Epic Beaker Rover. Phlebotomists may be asked to assist in other areas of UChicago Medicine- Hyde Park as needed.
Essential Job Functions Performs venipuncture and skin punctures with expertise using Epic Beaker/Rover and in a customer service oriented fashion, adhering to all established policies and procedures.
