About this role
About the Role The Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacist in assembling prescriptions, dispensing per physician orders, and providing technical support in inventory management to ensure medicines are available in the clinic. The role also involves maintaining FEFO-based shelf arrangements and participating in voluntary community health activities. What You'll Do
- Organize, inspect and validate prescriptions to reduce medication errors.
- Review, analyze and respond to daily situations.
- Fill medications based on prescriptions to dispense.
- Assist in stock counts and note expiring drugs.
- Arrange/stack drugs and consumables according to FEFO guidelines.
- Ensure minimum stock levels are not exceeded.
- Bring patients into the dispensing area when necessary.
- Keep the dispensing area clean and ensure dispensing materials are available.
