About the Role Under general supervision, assists in the filling of prescriptions, including operating computers and packaging machines, counting, labeling, stocking, and other pharmacy-related activities. What You'll Do
- Receive electronic prescriptions, weekly batches or refill requests and accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions under the direction of the Pharmacist.
- Perform tasks such as handling, counting, mixing, and packaging medications.
- Select and import orders for automation equipment dispensing, print labels, and maintain order management to dispense prescriptions.
- Operate and monitor robotic machines that dispense medications.
- Assist in entering minor edits to record correct dispensing quantity and manufacturer NDC used to dispense prescription order.
- Prepare blister packs and prepare and stage pharmaceutical supplies and drugs in correct bins for delivery.
