Per-Course Instructor of Abnormal Psychology (in-person)
The successful candidate will teach one section of Abnormal Psychology on campus in Spring 2027. This is one of our most consistently in-demand courses and serves as the prerequisite for our upper-division Counseling Psychology course. We have not yet set the spring schedule, and we are happy to offer flexibility around days and times that work best for the instructor we hire.
Course Description:
PSY 235 Abnormal Psychology: Examines the diagnosis, etiology, explanation, and treatment of major mental disorders. Focus is on understanding the interplay of biological and psychological forces in the development and treatment of disorders, with emphasis on research findings.
