About this role
About the Role The Patient Financial Advocate screens on-site at hospitals to identify eligibility for State, County, and Federal assistance programs and to assist patients with enrollment. This role involves providing information and progress updates to client contacts and collaborating with hospital staff. What You'll Do
- Review the hospital census or utilize established referral method to identify self-pay patients consistently throughout the day.
- Screen those patients that are referred to Firstsource for State, County and/or Federal eligibility assistance programs.
- Initiate the application process for eligible programs and report progress to client contacts. What We're Looking For
- Bilingual in English and Spanish. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Up to $23 hourly. DOE.
