Patient Attendant

About the Role The Patient Attendant supports day-to-day activities in assigned area(s) to assist the care team and ensure patient safety and comfort. This PRN, 12-hour day shift role requires compassionate service, strong observation, and the ability to work with nursing staff to manage changing workloads. What You'll Do

• Communicate effectively while maintaining patient privacy.
• Maintain visual observation of patients and respond per department protocol.
• Provide patient care according to the treatment plan within scope.
• Multitask and prioritize multiple situations.
• Ensure a safe patient environment and seek assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to set care priorities and adapt to changing workloads.
• Observe and document patient behaviors and changes; update nursing staff per protocol.
• Adhere to customer service standards and professional conduct.
