About the Role The Insurance Patient Account Representative - Hospital A/R Emphasis acts as an extension of the client’s business office, handling communications with patients and insurance companies to resolve account balances. The role requires adherence to client policies and can operate on a hybrid schedule with two in-office days in San Marcos or El Segundo, CA and three days from home. What You'll Do
- Take inbound and make outbound calls to patients and insurance companies to resolve account balances, following client policies and procedures.
- Perform any and all job-related duties as assigned.
- Work on approximately 40 +/- accounts per day and complete assigned projects in a timely manner.
- Assist clients and patients with requested tasks; research and respond to patient inquiries received by telephone and mail.
