About the Role The Pastoral Assistant will support the school's pastoral, health and welfare needs and contribute to safeguarding across the Trust. This is a role within the school to help promote the welfare of students and to support staff in delivering a safe, caring environment. What You'll Do
- Provide pastoral support to students, focusing on welfare and well-being, under the direction of senior staff.
- Communicate clearly and tactfully, build positive relationships, and work as an effective member of a team; adapt methods to benefit the team.
- Attend training and meetings as necessary and cascade relevant information to staff and stakeholders.
- Support, promote and comply with decisions and policies agreed by the SLT and the Trust Board.
- Demonstrate a positive role model for staff and students and actively promote the aims of the School.
