Role Summary
Filevine is developing new AI-powered tools for the legal industry. As part of this effort, we need people with real legal research training to review and validate data that our machine learning systems extract from published legal materials. This role is ideal for law students who enjoy close reading of judicial opinions and legal analysis, and who are curious about how AI is being applied to legal practice.
Role Details Position: Part-Time Legal Research Intern Location: Filevine HQ (Salt Lake City, UT OR Chicago, IL) Hours: 10–20 hours per week (flexible around class schedules) Eligibility: 2L and 3L students
Responsibilities
- Read and analyze published judicial opinions across state and federal jurisdictions.
- Review outputs generated by AI systems and verify their accuracy against the source legal materials.
