- Cashier Responsibilities: Properly utilize the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately scan and process customer purchases; inform store management of scanning concerns or errors; adhere to cash policies and procedures; follow the line policy and open additional check lanes as required to ensure an efficient checkout; complete curbside pickup orders by accurately retrieving items and verifying contents for timely delivery.
